UPDATE 0.1b released


Patch notes 0.1b

--Major

-Merchants! A backend system for setting up merchants quickly has been created, along with follows the first merchant of the game: Chad. Chad currently sells thread (which is now a requirement to make gloves) and the fishing rod (which is no longer craftable). He also sells the expensive new artifact: Chadcoin, which permanently increased all gold drops.

-Out of combat hp: The player is not fully healed at the start of combat anymore, instead he must either wait for his hp to recover or find a bed for a good night's rest. Of course once the backend is in place for it, you will also be able to replenish your health with food directly from your inventory, but this must wait for a future update.

-Saving is here. Your level, inventory, artifacts and what special monster you have defeated are now saveable by either sleeping in a bed or quitting to the new main menu via the settings tab. Furthermore when creating a save you are now able to name your character yourself and there is a new tracker tracking your time played accessible from the settings tab (currently only in seconds)

Warning: Deleting your save currently has no “are you sure” check and is instant

Warning 2: The game is still in a very early development stage so we can't promise saves always will be compatible with new patches at the moment.

--Minor

-Messageboard cleared at combat start to avoid getting stuck in combat due to bugs in other areas of the game spamming messages to the board.

-New still temporary textures for most tiles

-dmg multipliers on higher tier weapons nerfed

-finally fixed the double crafting/message spamming bug

-Major Backend rewrite of inventory system, this will allow far more flexible features in the future

-Combat XP nerfed so you don't get max combats before getting close to other maxed skill

-Lots of behind the scenes work and fixes which we forgot to document

-Buttlin hp 100 -> 65

-Crown of Dong now actually affects the drop chance of diamonds


Next update

The next update is gonna be very backend heavy with a focus on providing alot of features for inventory management and a way to equip your tools and armor (yes, that was a sneaky confirmation of the additition of armor next patch, tho it probably won't affect anything pre combat update (damn combat update confirmed?!))
